The storms pushed through in the early afternoon hours. Shortly before midnight on Saturday night, energy to many Consumers customers had been restored, but still hundreds were in the dark, including a handful in Owosso Township. The primary concentration of Shiawassee county customers still without power is in the Morrice area, where more than 200 customers are still waiting for the lights to come back on. There are also customers in Laingsburg, Perry, Vernon, Durand, Lennon and Byron in the dark. Consumers Energy says service to these customers may not be restored until Monday at 6am.
