At Lincoln House, 28 new affordable apartment homes were adapted within the restored 1915 two-story brick school. The new facility will serve seniors age 55 and older with 30 to 60% AMI. The one- and two-bedroom apartments are loaded with charm and have energy-efficient windows and appliances. Amenities include a community room, elevator and an indoor parking garage.
Woda Cooper Companies, Inc. appreciates the support for the $5.9 million development, including tax credit investments by CREA, LLC, a permanent loan by Bellwether Enterprise, and a construction loan from RiverHills Bank as well as purchase price concession by the Owosso Public Schools. The City supported the development through a PILOT (Payment In Lieu of Taxes).
During the open house, guests are welcome to tour the facility and enjoy refreshments.
Lincoln House is located at 120 Michigan Avenue in Owosso.
