You may or may not have known this business even exists in Shiawassee County! On Tuesday, April 24th, the Shiawassee Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the very interesting story of this niche business.
In 2004, Josh's Frogs LLC was founded by Joshua Willard, a poison dart frog hobbyist and vivarium enthusiast. Josh originally operated the business out of his basement and garage, but his dedication to customer service and quality supplies quickly caused the business to grow. In 2008, Josh's Frogs moved to Owosso.

In 2013, the company moved into a new building in Owosso where Josh's Frogs now employs over 30 people, and has become the largest producer of captive bred poison dart frogs in the United States, and probably the world. Josh's Frogs also works with other varieties of frogs and toads from all over the world.
"We are excited to hear from this unique entrepreneur. We are also really excited that he is bringing some live pets to the luncheon! The growth of Josh's Frogs is amazing to see and we are glad that Josh chose Shiawassee County as his home," said Chamber President/CEO Jeff Deason.
The Topics @ Twelve program is Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at The Comstock Inn & Conference Center. The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. and concludes by 1:00 p.m. Program admission is $12 per person for any chamber member and $15 per person for non-members. The public is invited to attend.
